Hi everyone,
I know its been a while since I posted to this blog, but I just wanted to tell you how excited I am about the Children's room right now. Today we finally made it out to Michaels and used every coupon imaginable to purchase new picture frames for the Children's room. Over the last few months I have been writing to Children's authors and Illustrators to see if anyone would be willing to donate a poster or picture to put up on our walls. So far I have had a wonderful response, so I would just like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of the lovely Illustrators and Authors out there who not only took time to reply but also to post me something.

Please check out there blogs, books and websites. All of these people are fabulous at what they do and they love to hear from you so send them some good old fashioned snail mail !
We had such a great response that, we actually don't have enough wall space for all of the pictures to go up at once, so there will be a monthly rotation, which is exciting. I should have the first batch up by next week and then I'll take pictures and post them here or you can come in and see them for your selves.
Have a lovely week and please don't forget to donate a book to our children's collection as part of the birthday book club.
Happy reading
Ellie
